My Growing Boy

Mathew is 10 weeks old today. I think he's getting bigger by the hour. He's been a popular little guy lately. First, a visit from Grandma Norris and then a visit from Mindy. We've had fun with our company and Mommy certainly appreciated the extra set of hands. MJ has been doing better and better at being out and about. He's now had a couple trips to the grocery store, several experiences dining out, a couple car rides to and from Orlando, and even a few shopping trips. He's still not a big fan of riding in the car, but otherwise the outings seem to be getting smoother and smoother and I think I'm becoming more comfortable and feeling equipped to handle the crying in public rather than letting the fear keep me from trying. MJ even had his first experience in the swimming pool with Mindy and I. He loves the bath so much that we thought the pool might be a big hit as well. I was nervous the water was a little to cool for his comfort, but he loved it. He only went in up to his bottom but he was all smiles wiggling his chubby little legs around in the cool water. Unfortunately he screamed bloody murder when we took him out, just like he does after a bath. After his dip in the pool he took a nice LONG nap.
