What a great day! I know my wife has openly been dreaming of this day for at least 5 years. Secretly I imagine it has been since she used to play dolls with Mindy in elementary school. I have a very vivid memory of last mothers day. Sharis was here (does anyone detect a theme there) and we were all at church together. As with most churches our church has all the mothers stand up and be recgonized. I never really talked to Keli about it, but it broke my heart to know how that made her feel. She had her mother with her, and was very thankful, but I knew her overwhelming emotion was sorrow.
I am not much of a crier, and when she reads this it will be the first she hears of it, but I nearly busted out in to tears today when she stood up next to MJ and I and we were able to give her a well deserved round of applause. We have known each other since such an early age, and seen so many dreams come true. This was the biggest of dreams for her though, and I was extremely proud to be part of it.
To all the other mothers out there, we hope you enjoyed today as much as we did. We are sad to be away from all the important women in our life today and we hope you all know how much we love you and how you have influenced us indvidually and our new family. Much love to our mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers, and great great grandmothers!!

Wow! How beautiful...what a touching tibute. I too remember last Mother's Day with great clarity. I am thrilled that this Mother's Day arrived with Miracle Mathew in your arms now and in your hearts forever. Love, Mom
