Waiting...

Well Mathew is still in the NICU. Keli and I are impatiently waiting for his release. Over the weekend only one doctor is there, and they do not spend time with us like the do during the week. So, we were very anxious to see Mathew's doctor this morning. He came in about noon and reviewed Mathew's progress from the weekend. I of course asked when we could take him home and he said soon, I followed up with "tomorrow"? He said maybe but more like mid to late week. He has nothing left to accomplish, they are simply monitoring him. The little guy is eating from a bottle and/or the breast for all his feedings.

His Grandma and Grandpa Keyes arrived yesterday to meet him. It was a very exciting event. They got to spend a small amount of time with him last night before they headed back to our house. It was very weird to send my parents back to our house with out us. They have never even been to our house in Lakeland. They found their way with help from our GPS, and made it back today. For Mathew's 2:30 feeding Keli and I went back to our room and let Grandma and Grandpa feed him, change him, and put him back to sleep.

Everyone is eagerly awaiting his discharge from the hosptial. Grandma and Grandpa Norris have moved from our house to Jeff's house. I imagine they will be here until Mathew comes home, but that is not certain. Thanks again for all your support. We can not wait to post pictures of our going home party! :)
