More good news!

We woke up today to prepare for our embryo transfer, yet not really knowing if it would definitely happen today or not. We were tentatively scheduled for 10:00 AM today, but I was told to call before leaving to verify if it was still on (slightly nerve wracking, ehh?). So, after about 45 minutes of calling back and forth and trying to get answers the embryologist said that ALL 5 of my embryos are still fertilized and looking wonderful! This is such a blessing, because it's very common for an embryo or two to start diminishing during this time. He said that because they all looked so great, he would be unable to advise us on which one or two to implant at this point. So, they will wait until Saturday which is considered the blastocyst stage. At that point the embryos should have divided even further and there will be a clearer picture of which ones appear to be more successful for implantation. It's also beneficial because it gives me two more days of progesterone injections to prepare my uterus and the time frame of transferring on day 5 is similar to implantation time frame during a "natural pregnancy." I am just feeling in awe of this news and so blessed that our little embies are still strong! Over the last several years we've been used to disappointment after disappointment when it comes to our fertility, so it's just amazing to me that we're getting good news twice in a row! I feel on edge that our bubble could burst at anytime, but I am trying to remain strong and faithful. Please continue to pray that our embryos will develop over the next few days and guide the embryologists in their decision making.
