Favorite Footage of the Week

Yes, I do take lots of pictures and an occasional video. I have my camera on me at most times. I'm a proud mama, what can I say? Here's my favorites of the week...
I've been trying to capture a picture of MJ's first tooth for awhile now, and finally got it! His bottom front tooth is clearly poking through and the one right next to it is quite visible too. Not to mention those beautiful blues; I just love this picture! He's been a pro with teething thus far. A little whining and lots of chewing and biting on his toys, but really no fussiness to speak of. I have adored his gummy grin for the last several months, but seeing with him a couple little chompers is pretty darn cute too!

This one's not quite as cute of a "first," but I'm sure it's on the long list of many to come. This was MJ's first band aid requiring boo boo. He got a little cut on his forehead; poor guy! Some Neosporin and a Band Aid and it's already looking much better. As much as he rolls around and konks his head on everything, I'm surprised it's taken this long.
What baby doesn't need some adorable Christmas jammies? Thanks to the Shelton's for these! If you can't make out what it says, it's "What Santa Doesn't Bring Me, Grandma Will!" Isn't that the truth? His grandparents all love him so much! So, maybe we're a weekend early with busting out the Christmas attire, but I couldn't resist. I wanted him to have plenty of time to wear them while they fit.

I took this video while MJ was playing at home this week. I was hoping to capture one of his many new skills: babbling, crawling-or his version of it anyways, etc. He's at such a fun stage! I love to just sit and watch him explore. He looks so deep in thought sometimes and I wonder what he's learning and thinking about. He's been talking up a storm this week. He's also seems to have hit a little bit of a clingy stage. He'll army crawl over to your feet and tug at your pant leg, reach his arms out to be picked up, or cry when you set him down on the floor. It all usually stops pretty quickly, but it's definitely something new we're noticing.

Yea, the pj's fit - even at 19lbs!! lol I love that video, it's soo cool to watch them at this stage so intrigued by something so small & trivial. Kind of makes us put everything into perspective! Enjoy the simple things in life! x, Mindy
