Looking Like a Junkie!

Yesterday, all my meds arrived via Fed Ex. They had to be shipped to my work b/c I had to sign for them and then run them home to be refrigerated. Talk about trying to be discrete at work! I told one of ladies in the office so she could be on the look out, and then had a couple close friends I work with that were kind enough to watch my class while I ran home briefly. I am so blessed to have these friends on my grade level. They've helped me so much through this process already. It's so much easier to slip away from work briefly when you know you have people looking out for you and rooting for you every step of the way.

If you looked in my refrigerator right now though, you'd probably think Mat and I had developed into some junkies! Yesterday we recieved Lupron, Follistim, HCG, Ovidrel, Progesterone, antibiotics, lots and lots of needles and syringes, and a gazillion bandaids, gauze, etc. Not everything gets chilled, but the majority does and as expensive as those little glass vials are, we will be sure that they don't accidentally get knocked over! Monday begins the Lupron injections and the rest will sit chillin in the fridge for a bit. I've never been so excited to get a shot! It seems like Monday can't get here fast enough.

In the meantime, I'm planning on enjoying the 3-day weekend. Mat's planned a dinner/dancing cruise for us tonight to celebrate our anniversary. Other than that, no big plans for the weekend...some R&R. Happy Memorial Day weekend to each of you. May we remember the wonderful men and women who have put their lives on the line while defending our freedom!
