The title was Mat's direct quote after giving me my first injection this morning. :) I'm hoping that will be one side effect that doesn't kick in! It's always good to hope, right? I attached this picture to show exactly what the medicine and the needle look like. It wasn't bad at all! I'm not going to lie, I was a little nervous. Not nervous about the shot so much, nervous about the fact that person giving it to me wasn't a doctor or nurse! But hats off to my wonderful hubby. He was like a pro! It was super quick and besides a little sting, it was over before I knew it! Again, I can't help but think it's a good sign that this whole process begins on the day of our 7 year anniversary. I'm putting all my money on Lucky 7...literally! :)Monday, May 26, 2008

I truly awakened this morning thinking of you both and saying a prayer. I am glad it went well and hopefully "the crazy lady" won't emerge for a while :) Another first for you two...on your Winding Road. Happy Anniversary - #7!!!
Love,
Mom

Been thinking about you guys and praying for you through this process. I sure it is exciting and stressful all at once!
Hi there ~
I was talking w/ Jackie tonight, first conversation since back in town, and she said she hadn't received your email...so I forwarded it to her. She wanted me to tell you she is praying for you! I am wondering how you are feeling after a few days of shots now. Good night and love to you both! You are ALWAYS in my thoughts...
