I can't believe that we are half way through this pregnancy. I've been waiting to hear the words "20 weeks" ringing in my ears and today I can say it! It's really hard to believe. It feels like time has dragged by, but yet still hard to believe that we've hit this milestone already. I have a feeling the second half of the pregnancy will move faster than the first, with the holidays approaching and just feeling more at ease rather than worried day in and day out. I could be wrong though....we'll see.
At 20 weeks, Baby Keyes is now the size of a small cantaloupe. Amazing to think the first food comparison was only a sesame seed. Wow! He or she is weighing in at approximately 10 1/2 ounces. He's now swallowing and producing meconium (ewww..I try to not think about that one yet) and is still curled up with his legs pulled in front of him. Supposedly after week 20, the measurements start going from head to toe rather than crown to rump, as the baby begins to straighten out more.
Baby Keyes seems to be more alert today...I've felt lots of little reminders that he/she is in there and doing just fine. It's amazing to think how in love I am and it's this tiny creature is only halfway developed! Feeling those movements really does start to change ones emotions.

Happy 20 weeks!!!! Wow, seems like yesterday you found out your were preggo! Im sure for you it's dragging! It usually does while you're pregnant, then all the sudden you can't believe it's over. You're ready to see the baby, then WHAM! You wonder where all the time went! Sorry if I am being a downer! It's the greatest time and most wonderful gift! I can't understand people who are simply miserable during pregnancy, because how could you be knowing some miracle is happening inside of you! Here's to yours and Mat's miracle! May he or she healthy and chubby! I like them chubby! :) KW
