Wide Load Comin' Through!
I'm learning that when you're pregnant, nearly EVERYONE feels the need to comment on some aspect of your pregnancy whether it's telling you their horrible birth story or figuring something inappropriate to say about your changing shape. So today, the custodian at my school decided to tell me that my belly isn't changing all that much but I'm definitely getting wider! Oh gee, thanks....as if I hadn't realized that my pants were glued to my butt today. Seriously?!?! What are people thinking. Anyhow, I've shed many a tears, saved many a dollars, and said many a prayers to one day have a preggo body so I am convinced to enjoy and thank God for each and every curve that comes along with pregnancy. Wednesdays are my day that I weigh myself first thing in the morning and I must admit that I'm a little nervous for tomorrow's weigh-in. Up until last Wednesday, I had only gained about 3 pounds but I have a fear that tomorrow I will see a much higher number. Darn scales!

keli- i ran into a woman who i hadn't seen in a while. she's the nanny of one of the boys jack goes to pre school with & i've seen her off & on at various kid activities over the past 3 years.
on friday at pre school she said to me, "i haven't seen you in a while. you look great. you've lost A LOT of weight."
ummm....i'm 28 weeks pregnant. i've actually gained some weight. who tells an obviously pregnant woman that she's LOST weight?
people are weird. just ignore them & enjoy the belly.
Haha, you're so cute - love reading your blog! I'm getting wider too...but I'm not preggers! :-( Seriously though...some people say the darndest things! X, Mindy
Oh honey, while wearing scrubs at the hospital over the years, I can't tell you how many times people put their foot in their mouths to ask when I was due? And again, not preggers!! Now the bad side of that is, nobody says that to me anymore because they know I am TOO old to be preggers! Love you guys. djm
Seriously enjoy the comments. Being pregnant is the ONLY time in your life that the bigger you get the more excited friends and family will be. There's nothing more entertaining than hearing someone say- "wow- your belly is huge today" and mean it in a positive way! It's the only time in your life that bigger really does mean better, lol! :)
Awww Keli pregnant is beautiful, wide, carrying far out front, down low, up high however you wear it, its just beautiful! I loved how I looked pregnant and to be honest I miss the big 'ole belly just a little now, but I'm happy I have my little boy here so it's all okay.
Hugs,
Jen
