Today I had quite possibly one of the best moments of being a new mom. For nearly 6 months I have waited for my little man to be calm and still enough to lie still to cuddle with me. Those that know MJ well know that he constantly wants to be standing, bouncing, etc. Today he was very relaxed and cuddly. He woke up from a nap but still seemed a little tired so we laid down on the couch together. He spent about 30 minutes just lying on my chest like this. He was cuddling with his bear, head laying on my chest, and just staring at me. Mat took this quick video. I don't think the sound captured it, but I was singing "You Are My Sunshine," to him. He truly is my sunshine and especially brightened mama's day today! Ahhh, I will always treasure this and hope there are more of these cuddle moments to come. What a sweet boy.

How precious! I know there will many more times like this to come. Haylee loves to cuddle - all day if she could. Hope you are enjoying your Holiday weekend!

My turn!!! I want to hold and cuddle him!!! So happy for you that you got this memory recorded to cherish forever...over time you forget sooooo much! I think that's why I keep wanting more kids, you miss those precious moments, new ones are good too. I just miss those sweet, still times where it's just you and your baby! -KW
Oh, my this one made me cry. How sweet and beautiful this moment...so full of love! I am so happy for you...did you think your heart could be so full? When your litle one puts their arms around your neck and their head on your shoulder it is like a piece of heaven...still.
