If it's pink, it's all good!
I know I already did Charlee's two year update back closer to her birthday, but she finally had her 2 year 2 Year Well Child Checkup, so I wanted to document her current stats:
Charlotte weighs 26 lbs and is in the 32nd percentile for weight. Is this seriously the same little girl that as a baby was in the 99th percentile and had the painfully looking chubby legs?! She's leaned out so much now and seems tall and thin to me. She's 34.5 inches (48%) and has a head circumference of 48cm (57%). She also had her first blood pressure measurement that I can recall, which was 92/46. The last two years Charlotte's hemoglobin levels had been a tad low, so they rechecked it again this year with a finger prick blood test, and it was normal! She received one immunization-Hepatitis A.
Sweet little girl was about the best patient ever! She is so agreeable and just lets the nurses and doctor do whatever. She lets them and even asks them to pick her up. Quite a difference from her big brother who always cried the second they walked in the room. Ha!
Not only was big brother happy to photo bomb, but he was so eager to come along to Charlotte's appointment and kept reminding her she'd be getting a shot. Gotta love brothers! ;) Luckily she didn't really realize what that meant and just kept saying "okay".
We had fun looking in the mirror and making silly faces while we waited for the doctor! Charlotte had a great check up. She is meeting or exceeding all milestones. She is talking so much lately! She's suddenly went from eating just about anything and everything to hardly eating anything. It seems to be natural at this age, but it sure is frustrating. She loves her chocolate milk and asks for it first thing in the morning, but besides that there's not much she seems to love right now.
A healthy child is SUCH a blessing I certainly don't take for granted, so we're thankful for another good checkup.
